Sort into four piles first

Bulk loads including furniture are $15 per visit, and five bags of household trash are $5. Trailers must be under 5 feet wide and 10 feet long, with five trailer trips a year. Staff do not unload, it is one trip a day, and it does not take construction debris, tires or outdoor structures. It is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM.

When to hand it off

If the pile is bigger than one trip, if you do not have a truck, or if the heavy things are the problem, a paid hauler can save the day. A garage cleanout is a normal small-load job, and handing it off means you do not spend the day lifting and driving.
